In the long run-up to South Africa hosting the world's biggest tournament this summer, one of the main worries was if the country had the proper football facilities to stage the event in front of the hundreds of thousands of fans who will turn up from all over the globe. Though there was concern at one point that the lack of construction progress on many of the new stadiums could possibly hinder South Africa from hosting the event, it all somehow came together and all the stadiums are up and running. And while the money used to build these beauties could've been spent in many, many better ways to help the people of South Africa, they're here now, so they might as well make the most of them.

Some of the points of Carry Logger Bill are good and also in favor to improve Pakistan economical position and stop terrorism activities nation wide but overall does it suits Pakistan? This Bill was designed by Carry and Logger that’s why it’s called Carry Logger Bill. Here I am going to point out some controversial points in this bill.

1) America will occupy all nuclear reactors and atom bomb when needed.
2) All army ranks will be defined by USA and no promotion will be taken without US permission.
3) All justice courts will be independently performs their duties without concerning to government issues.
4) America will reserve all rights to attack any part of Pakistan when it’s needed.
5) Army chief staff in Pakistan will be selected by the American authorities.

These five points are most disputed pints in this controversial bill, but other points are very favorable to Pakistan. Now here raise a point that does Pakistan will agree to all terms and conditions of this bill or neglect this offer. I think Pakistan should talk to US authorities to change these critical controversial points in this bill to make it acceptable. On the other side if Pakistan will agree to all terms and conditions of this bill without any changes than nobody except Allah can stop USA to occupy Pakistan like Iraq and Afghanistan. Also keep in mind that USA army already doing Drone attacks on various parts of Pakistan.

An intelligence report of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for GHQ Attack

Lahore, Oct.11 - ANI: An intelligence report of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has revealed that the Punjab Police had warned concerned authorities on July 15 that terrorists might launch an attack on the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.According to sources, CID (Punjab) had forwarded a report regarding the impeding threat to the Punjab Home Department and other law enforcement agencies.The report revealed that banned terror organizations such as the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) and the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) were planning to target the Army Headquarters.It also said that militants dressed in army uniform would try to force their way into the GHQ through a wall, which they would demolish using massive explosives.Meanwhile, Pakistans Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rana Sanaullah has warned that militants could now target public places instead of politicians and government establishments.Talking to media persons outside the Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah said the government is prepared to handle any terror threat. He said the government has decided to double the number of security personnel and field policemen in plain clothes, The Daily Times reports. - ANI

ISLAMABAD: Police have picked up the owner of a house believed to have been rented by people suspected of involvement in the attack at the General Headquarters (GHQ), sources told Dawn.
Police have also taken into custody the property dealer concerned.
The house is situated in Dhok Awan, Model Town Humak, and lies within the jurisdiction of the Sihala police.
Police believe the suspects used the premises as a safe house and drove to the GHQ from there.
The raiding party found the entrance to the house already unlocked and saw several sets of Pakistan Army uniform, maps of sensitive locations, fuses and detonators used in explosives, material used in making suicide jackets, several identity cards, etc.
Two pairs of trousers, two jeans, over 10 pairs of Shalwar Kameez and slippers were also found.
The police also stumbled upon the rent agreement of the house which, according to the document, was hired on Sept 9 against a rent of Rs10,000.
The evidence suggested that the suspects had been staying at the place for the past 20 to 25 days.
Preliminary investigation showed that 10 to 12 people were living in the house. Most of them were clean-shaven and some had moustache.
Suspicious movements of people riding in sports utility vehicles were seen around the house on Friday night, an official said.

US to provide $175 million for BISP annually: minister

ISLAMABAD : Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Farzana Raja Monday said that United States would provide financial assistance worth $175 million to BISP under Kerry Logger Bill annually. She said that while addressing a press conference here and underlined that US government is interested to support the BISP that aimed to alleviate poverty from the country.Terming her recent visit to the United States successful, she said it will prove a milestone for the investment in Pakistan and pave the way for foreign investment in the country in different sectors. Farzana said that BISP was appreciated for its transparent procedure and all the UN officials hailed Pakistani government for its large scale poverty alleviation programme.She said that UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has appreciated the progress achieved by the programme and emphasised the objectives empowering women and reducing poverty under the BISP. In a meeting, she informed the UN Secretary General that the transparency was the hallmark of the programme and sought international assistance for further improving transparency of the programme.The UN Secretary General termed BISP as the model for sharing the experiences with other countries, she added. The Chairperson also gave the comprehensive briefing to the President of the World Bank, Zoellick who terming BISP as an agent for social revolution in Pakistan, expressed interest in supporting BISP in the plans to introduce accident insurance as well as vocational training programmes for the beneficiaries.President Centre for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) Dr Jhon Hemre also discussed issues relating war against terror, reconstruction and rehabilitation of IDPs, poverty alleviation and women empowerment in a meeting with the chairperson. She said that President High Land group Dick Oneil showed intention for investing in communication and information technology sector in Pakistan for which he has planned to visit Pakistan soon.The Chairperson announced that the government would provide free of cost gas and electricity to those consumers who utilise only 200 units per month. Initially, the beneficiaries will be 2.2 million families registered under BISP and more families will be included having consultation with Ministry of Water and Power. The pilot project of poverty survey will be completed by the end of this month that will identify more deserving families and the beneficiaries would reach to five million vulnerable families, she added.Answering to a question to counter corruption in disbursement of funds, she said that government is doing its best to avoid any mishandling of money and strict action has taken against the workers of 12 post offices who were involved in corruption.Moreover, the Benazir smart card will be issued in those districts where the poverty survey will have been completed, she informed. Appreciating the role of media, she said that media is playing very positive role for creating awareness among the people about the programme.-PR
